First I buy a blank canvas and create a border using painters tape. I use photoshop to print out a blown up version of the reference photo. I then draw the picture on the canvas and start painting!

After painting the skin, I paint the hair. I make sure to carefully mix together paints to create a perfect matching color to the original photograph.

I paint the outfits and start on the background objects.

When the background is done, I go over all of the lines with black sharpie and peel off the blue tape, revealing the final painting!
